Booked this hotel for my partner and a friend as it was close to a gig as a gift. After a potent bottomless brunch they attended elsewhere of what could only be described as harry potter flavour cocktails with the strength of Fear and loathing last Vegas style concoction, it is needless to say the gig was two patrons short that night and the hotel ended up becoming the sole destination for the Inbetweeners pair. When not hugging and viewing the inside of the toilet bowl, which was extremely clean and closely inspected during these visits, well it was beforehand that is, or the inside of her eye lids in the exceptionally comfortable bed and duvet, the hotel couldn't be faulted. I would ask how the table is holding up as she had a drunken altercation with it as it apparently snuck up on her out of nowhere and stole her lunch money whilst taking out her shin. The breakfast however had every option a recovering alcoholic could need to make it through the recovery of the night before bad life choices. All in all, I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Staff were really welcoming, common areas were clean fresh and stylish with great interiors and attention to detail. The whole place was infused with gorgeous aromas wafting up from the spa. Thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, water, waffle robes and temple spa toiletries in the room. We were travelling with a dog and they provided a water bowl and treats for him to use. Wish we had time for a longer stay: Menu for Carriage Works restaurant looked amazing. Wish I had taken photos but my hands were full a lot of the time! Great position. Lots to see and do on the doorstep

Spacious and new; lovely lobby/main dining room & bar. Liked the modern bathroom and walk in shower, robes, linens. Near "The Phil" and walkable to/from train station. We also walked to Docks for tours (about 1.2 miles - downhill going, uphill returning). Breakfast was good and staff very good. After 3 days in Liverpool we were really glad we stayed here - as we discovered the city we found that other hotels more in the midst of traffic/congestion. We liked nearby restaurants and pubs and thought hotel location was nice.

Kristin

Located opposite the Liverpool Philharmonic hall which was convenient as we were attending a show there. New Year’s Eve meal was very good, staff so helpful as usual ! Breakfast busy but we’ll cooked and good quality as ever. Rooms well appointed, toiletries excellent quality, forgot my toothpaste but reception have complimentary paste. I have not been to the Spa but had a look and will consider booking a treat in the future

Judith

The spa is stunning, without doubt one of the best I've been to - location is perfect for walking to the many eateries nearby or even down to the water for a lovely walk along Kings Parade to the Port & Liver Buildings and the famous Beatles Statue
